Micro-Exfoliating peels are used to improve the texture of the skin, reduce pigment irregularities and aid to restore the skins natural barrier function. They can be effective in the management and treatment of common skin complains including acne, melasma and rosacea. Treatment is categorised in terms of depth of the procedure; superficial, medium or deep. For cosmetic purposes, we focus on superficial treatments "micro-exfoliating", to achieve a desirable cosmetic outcome without the downtime and risks associated with deeper peels. ✨
There is minimal to no downtime with this treatment, so you can keep enjoying Melbourne’s beautiful Spring weather with sunscreen of course. If you have further questions, we recommend consulting with our dermal clinician first to see if this is the appropriate treatment for you.
